Our story
From a small specialty contractor to a developer-grade builder
Eddie V. Bernardez registered Midtown Pools Center with the DTI in May 1989. The business started small and grew the slow way — on repeat work, referrals, and a reputation for doing careful builds at prices that made sense.
In 2013, ownership transferred to Rosalyn Bernardez, who serves as Proprietress and General Manager, with Eddie staying on as company consultant. That continuity matters: the person who ran the crews in the 1990s still reviews the technical calls today.
The scope has widened well beyond pools. We now take on hardscape works, community facilities, patios, gazebos, decks, and complete vertical finishing packages for large estates — while pools remain the discipline everything else is built around.
