Where a good build becomes a good-looking one
Finishing is the least forgiving stage of a pool build. Tile lines that drift, coping that ponds water, or grout that fails in the waterline are visible from the first day and impossible to hide afterwards.
We carry out full vertical finishing works alongside the pool package — mosaic tiling, epoxy systems, stone and coping, and the architectural water features that give a pool its character.
The waterline band takes the hardest wear in the whole pool: chemical exposure, sun, and constant wetting and drying. Specifying a proper waterline tile and grout system there saves a re-tile that would otherwise arrive within a few years.

Set the tile line off the finished water level, not the shell edge. A shell that is a few millimetres out of level is normal; a waterline that visibly is not level is the first thing anyone notices when the pool is filled.

Questions about finishing and detailing
Do you do finishing work on pools built by others?
Yes, after inspecting the shell and waterproofing. Finishes applied over a substrate that is still moving or leaking will fail, so we confirm the base is sound first.
What tile options are available?
Glass and ceramic mosaic, porcelain, and natural stone, with feature bands and pattern work. We advise on which will hold up given the pool’s exposure and chemical regime.
Can you add a waterfall to an existing pool?
Usually yes. It depends on the surrounding structure and whether the existing circulation can carry the feature, both of which we check on site before quoting.
What is epoxy painting used for?
Epoxy systems are a durable, chemically resistant alternative to tile for pool interiors, often specified where a solid colour finish is preferred or where budget rules out full tiling.
How long do finishing works take?
Tiling and finishing for a standard residential pool generally take two to four weeks, depending on the extent of mosaic work and the water features involved.
